Nuzhat’s current portfolio includes a range of areas; primary prevention of musculoskeletal conditions, carer’s health and wellbeing, a range of ageing well projects linked to physical activity and lifestyle, public health approach to end of life and dementia inequalities.
She has over 25 years’ experience of working across the Health sector in England and internationally as a clinician, commissioner, provider, and policy advisor at a local, regional and national level. Nuzhat has taught health management at undergraduate level and also teaches on a Master’s Public Health programme.
She is passionate about engaging with and mobilising community stakeholders and tackling health inequalities.
Nuzhat holds a Master’s degree in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
