Professor Murray Drummond is the Director of the Sport, Health and Physical Education (SHAPE) Research Centre at Flinders University. His primary research interests are based around boys’ and men’s bodies and masculinities. His current research includes a longitudinal research project with boys from early childhood through to adolescence. He is also conducting qualitative research with Masters level athletes across Australia in an attempt to understand the meaning of sport in the lives of ageing individuals.
